The Rapture: Australia Undone

  Foul beasts stalked the Earth. Australia became the kingdom of liars. Dissent was quashed. Fraud was everywhere. The government lied, the politicians lied, the intelligence agencies lied, and deceit permeated every aspect of everybody's life. Taxed into oblivion, taxed into servitude, modern day slavery, overwhelmed by strangers, forced out of affordable accommodation, he'll be lucky to afford a van by the time we're finished with him, the cruel hoax these people represented was literally everywhere. A sharp dagger rammed up through their guts and disembowelled them. A sharp bird flew overhead, squawking with piercing eyes, knowing too much and avenging strangers.  The sacred and the profane. We are all guilty, chanted the Christians, while the spirits swirled in indifference, and time flowed over all of them. It was the injustice, and it was the dishonesty, it was the deceit, and it was the blatant fraud perpetuated by taxpayer entities, that's what got to him. MAINS...

  Australia was now a very dishonest country. The media lied, of course, the judiciary lied, of course, and the politicians lied ceaselessly.  That was the way of it now. They had all been indoctrinated to rise up, hypnotised through their computers and phones and through the mainstream media, told what to do, where to do it, but most of all, what to think. Gang stalking, mob thinking, the mentality of the pack, it was now everywhere. Dark, and darkness to come. He would be glad to hit the road. He wanted out. He wanted away from the liars and the egregious, stinking bureaucratic bullshit, the hideous dishonest narratives of net zero and gender disparity. He couldn't think of a single solitary thing the Labor government had done which was of any good for the country whatsoever. But they had just been re-elected in a landslide.  And God forbid you should disagree with the pack. You would be under attack.   And the spinning discs from another civilisation altogeth...

  The battleground was set. The nastiness was set. A demoralised population. Empty pubs. Struggling businesses. A cheerful cohort. He just wanted out, of all the treachery, all the surveillance, all the dishonesty and rampant hostility of the dodgiest and most dishonest people he had ever encountered. It was a dog's game, a dog act, no, that was an insult to dogs.  He was disgusted by the whole damned lot of them, be strong, the spirits said, as images of a sabre-toothed tiger dribbling venom kept recurring; ready to tear apart the enemies of truth, an apex predator as they were so conveniently called. They had passed beyond the barking temple dogs.  The self righteous communist left now dominated the entire Australian political landscape. The conservatives, although they had been the wettest most faux conservatives the suburbs could conjure up, were in the process of annihilating  themselves with gutless leaders.  Do you want a full on communist or a wetter tha...

  The price of telling the truth, in the end that was what it was all about. It was truly despicable what had happened in Australia during the Covid era, and the social and economic fiascos which had occurred since, impacting on so many people. But many wanted to just move on, like blind moles shunting through the dirt. It was over. They were gone. This was a new day.  Well no it wasn't. The damage was done. Many were wounded. If anyone believed the government they needed their head read.  And this discourse, this blind shunting for the truth, without artifice, without design, without illusion that this government worked or the judicial system worked or the welfare system worked, or whatever, the creeping totalitarianism that was now Australia lit large.
