A Race Against Time

 



The ever shrinking Albo had become the subject of ridicule across Australia. The left was in disarray, their big fat white hero spurting lies about mass immigration, climate change and gender politics, having failed to find a public following.

Instead, they could smell the grubby accretions between his rolls of fat, his alcohol besieged liver, his dank breath, his disgusting personality. They could smell it all. They could spot a phony a mile off; that was ingrained in the Australian psyche. Step one in any new encounter: prove you're not a wanker.

Faced with plumetting standards of living, the population had turned en masse.

And those who dared to point out the bleeding obvious, their treachery, their dishonesty, their blatant lies and their idiot scripts, they were targeted.

If you had an old male friend who you knew had had struggles with the meth pipe a decade before, ending up in a foreign hospital, if you knew your 74-year-old friend had been struggling with high blood pressure, if you knew this was his vulnerability, one he had managed to avoid for years, would you sit at his kitchen table and offer him a pipe?

it was craven criminality, it was corruption at its most venal, it was deeply irresponsible behaviour by public servants, that is, on the company dime, in this case the government's dime, and yet, that is exactly what they had done.

They should be charged with attempted murder. They should be jailed. And their lives thrown on the rack of ruin they so richly deserved. For if they could do it to him, what other escapades of malfeasance and dishonesty were they up to?

These creeps.

One Nation won the Secret Harbour by-election in Western Australia on 29 August 2026, taking its first lower-house seat in the state from Labor in a large swing.

The outer-metropolitan Perth seat (southern coastal suburbs including Secret Harbour, Port Kennedy and surrounds) was vacated when Labor minister Paul Papalia resigned in July citing a family member’s medical issues. Labor had held the area and its predecessor seats for decades; Papalia won it in 2025 with a 11.5% margin after a 46.5% primary vote.

One Nation candidate Luke Herdegen, a local gym owner and former national weightlifting champion, recorded about 39% of the primary vote (a swing of roughly +30.6 points from One Nation’s 8.4% in 2025). Labor’s Georgia Tree fell to about 24% (–22 points). The Liberals’ Ryan Robertson was third on about 17%. After preferences Herdegen led Tree about 57–43. The ABC called it for One Nation on election night. Results were still being finalised as of 30–31 August with around three-quarters of votes counted.

Political reaction

One Nation framed the result as historic and a national signal. WA leader Rod Caddies and Herdegen declared there were “no safe Labor seats” left in the state or country and that the two-party system was “dead.” Herdegen called the southern suburbs “One Nation heartland now” and said the party would develop policy and aim to form government at the 2029 state election. Pauline Hanson and Barnaby Joyce (now aligned with One Nation) said it showed voters shifting from Labor and that polls understated the party’s support. Joyce described a change in how One Nation is perceived.

WA Premier Roger Cook said Labor would listen, acknowledged cost-of-living pressure (interest rates, fuel, housing), and noted byelections often mix state and other issues. He later dismissed One Nation’s talk of forming government in 2029 as hubris. Labor began a post-mortem; Tree conceded. The Liberals also faced internal questions after a distant third place. The seat overlaps the federal Liberal-held electorate of Canning (Andrew Hastie). Analysts noted One Nation can now win seats from Labor in areas where Liberals are weaker.

The contest was treated as a test of One Nation’s polling surge. The Secret Harbour result is the main political story of the weekend, with both major parties treating it as a warning about voter discontent rather than an isolated protest.

  It began in cyclonic circumstance, with the wind whipping off Bondi Beach as he struggled through a gale up and down the beachfront. There was no life. The bars were all closed or closing. Fraud: Clamouring Dissent

  Foul beasts stalked the Earth. Australia became the kingdom of liars. Dissent was quashed. Fraud was everywhere. The government lied, the politicians lied, the intelligence agencies lied, and deceit permeated every aspect of everybody's life. Taxed into oblivion, taxed into servitude, modern day slavery, overwhelmed by strangers, forced out of affordable accommodation, he'll be lucky to afford a van by the time we're finished with him, the cruel hoax these people represented was literally everywhere.
